We visited Weymouth for two days and stayed in The Cutter. We had so much fun here the Landlord was almost to good to be true. For a good time of fun this is a place to visit. If I go back to weymouth I will stay here again. Jon Tomas and Lisbeth from Sweden

Gave it a try, it was OK but we were disappointed. It's obviously seen better days.

WELL DONT NO WHAT EVERYONE THINKS BUT WE HAD A GIGGLE IN THE PUB WE SANG DRANK AND GOT SHIT FACED STAFF WERE FUN AND THE LANDLORD COOL THANKS 4 THE WEEKEND CUTTERS THEY NO WHO WE WERE LOL.

Smallish terraced corner pub, now with a black and white exterior and small beer patio.
The interior had two rooms; bar and lounge. The lounge had tables and blinds and looked more set up for food. The smaller bar had coloured glass and old pictures. The music was at a decent level, service friendly, the clientele small. The decor was green and white.
Beer; usual tap stuff really, with a decent enough Ringwood Bitter on handpull.
I wouldnt really seek this place out if back in Weymouth, but would pop in if passing

Nothing changes, still empty, still a dump, landlord sat outside on a stool pissed.

I think that the days of real ale in this place have bitten the dust as there was none available on my last visit either and it wasn't a busy day as it was when the fat beer badger visited.
|
Shame looked like the sort of place to get a decent pint, but no ale on when visited.(maybe as it was carnival day they had run out?) 5/10
|
the place was empty, nothing on the hand pump. We turned round and walked back out.

Well what can i say, went to Weymouth for the weekend at the end of October, and had a brillant time mostly thanks to The Cutter, the owners and staff and local customers were so friendly, made me and my boyfriend very welcome, the Halloween quiz was very entertaining to say the least and the punch that the landlady made, kncoked my head off, and the food, well the sunday lunch was to die for. Planning to go there again January for the weekend. Would definatley recommend it to anyone one the best seaside pubs i have ever been too. 10/10

And decent ale as well courtesy of the Dorset Brewing Company. Good jukebox, especially if you can work out how to retrieve the archived tracks. Being a thicko I couldn't manage it.
