Liversage Arms, Derbyback to pub details please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.
Just read in the Derby Drinker that the Livo has been de-licenced and will be converted into flats. It is always sad when a pub calls time for the last time, but at least there are plenty of other real ale pubs nearby. The Peacock, the Exeter and the Royal Standard/Brewery Tap are all only a couple of minutes walk away, and if that is not enough, the Smithfield and Derby CAMRA's Pub of the Year, The Furnace are both less than five minutes walk away.

A wonderful pub for both events/functions AND for a quiet beer when you're in the mood. Friendly staff and great beer. It's great to see that the new management have done so well with it. :D Full marks (10/10)

The Liversage has now reopened as AJs it has had a total redec and sells quality Ales. The staff are freindly and the parking is free between 6pm on Saturday till 8am Monday. great pub to start from on a night out. plus the drink prices are very reasonable. There is a function room that holds upto 80 people that is free to hire

The doors and windows were all boarded up and no sign of life when I walked past today, but bearing in mind the new use for the Liversage suggested by the last reviewer, I did not stop to investigate

Er, it's now a members-only gay bondage club. Seriously. Surprisingly enough, haven't been inside to test beer quality.
