Superb pub, excellent music and the live band were great. Probably had a couple too many but the atmosphere was infectious! Chip shop over the road aswell!

Enjoyed our visit here, unfortunately there wasn't a band on the night we tried it, but there was a very heavy metal jukebox playing.

This pubs ok, good music, good atmosphere MOST of the time, you sometimes find its full of students who act like they invented music, and there are some snotty bar staff who look down their nose at you if you're not a regular/goth/biker etc. NOT GOOD for business. It used to be much friendlier than it is, but still, they do have good music...

Visited this pub a couple of times now when holidaying in Weymouth. As a rock and metal fan I can only say it's the dog's nutz - just take a look at the jukebox and you'll see what I mean, not to mention the Motorhead emblem on the baize of the pool table.

Very nice pub inside, had a great night out there. The staff were good. Only go there if you like Rock!

Rock on! Probably Weymouth's premier venue for music of the loud variety with the best local bands sharing the stage with top tribute bands from all over the UK. Good beer, good service and good vibes. In a word - good!

I recently revisited this little boozer and it was better than previously. The bar staff seem friendlier, the jukebox was better, the music ( saw 2 bands while we were there for a week) was cracking. Booze fine and reasonably priced. It's well worth paying a bit more than Wetherspoons etc to feel at home in a proper rock pub!

This pub is also the meeting place of the South of England Northern Ireland Supporters Club on Saturday 10th December 2005 from 12 noon. Get down there if youre a fan of the green and white army and meet your local SC!!

this pub is the best in weymouth everyone one is great!the locals are such a laugh like jim,burt larry mike,big matt to name a few fantastic!!you have to go just to feel this unique atmosphere.

me and my girlfreind have been many a times last year from birmingham and one of the best times was when we seen channel 4 on hallowween they rocked and so did you,barstaff friends etc.we love you all we are all rockers together from ginger jim with the platt in his beard and julie with the blond blue streaks,hope you keep rockin forever see you soon

This i feel is one of the best pubs in weymouth I went there with friends on may 3rd 2003 They had a brilliant band on it was a piss-take of the 70's. you've got lovely beer, Very very friendly staff (Especially the young blonde barmaid) and if you want a good night out FINN MCOULS IS THE PLACE TO GO !
