Now called the Drawbridge. The Horn and Trumpet was a dark and fairly rancid place in its latter years, an example of another Bristol town centre pub that went downhill in the late 90's. I doubt many people mourn its passing. I don't.

horrid, dirty, chavvy, unpleasant, besides that it was ok.

Not closed, but it ought to be - dirty, unfreindly and expensive (7.50 for a beer and a wine!)

dont like this pub.. too many kids and sleazy guys. toilets are awful most of the time with no loo roll. must say tho the cocktails are tasty and good value for money but other than that i wouldnt bother.

Have to say I re-visited this pub for the first time in 13 years the other day and nothing has changed. The carpets, pipes and toilets left without any attention whatsoever for that long, going by the taste of the Kronenbourg, sludge on my shoes and stench of the bog. 2 of the staff, one of whom had a kid running around inside were having a swearing match, choice! There were a few single chav parents outside just to add to the ambience. Avoid like the plague or you will probaby catch it.

Known locally as the Horny Strumpet (due to it's weekend clientele...)
Not recommended if you are over 17!
