Local (and the only) gay pub in Eastbourne. Therefore most customers are regulars. Expect screaming teens and raving queens. Prices and drinks aren't bad but, as with many bars like this, it is spoilt by the regulars who think of it as their own. Not a place to chat or meet new friends (unless of course you are stunningly handsome, gorgeous or have lots of money). A shame as much money has been spent. Maybe a bit of competition would perk it up.

This is a neatly laid out gay bar that was playing some decent retro music on my recent visit. Theres not much of a drinks selection with only standard draught and Amstel, but my pint of Guinness was spot on. There is a decked back garden with a very lively pond and a barbeque facility at the rear. I found the barmaid to be a little off, but the barman was friendly enough when I returned my pint glass.
I cant see myself returning here, but it is a nice enough pub.

Scream?!!! No change there then, it's always been a screaming queen bar and great for it. The Original (and Only) bar for those who finally come out in the town. Fun for all the familly. I loved it and ran it years ago. Long may it survive. Lee Homan

This place is a total scream! An excellent night out if you're gay or straight, although I can see how less-liberated men would feel uncomfortable in there. The buzzer only thing means no difficult looking people are allowed in, so you can be assured of a hassle free night out. An average range of booze, but this pub isn't the kind of place you go to looking for beer, if you get my drift...
