so much for this being a really good pub. might of been back in the day. But now, it has now shut down and is on getting pulled down, that is how good this pub is. every weekend the police would be there. and as for the bouncers, if you had a short skirt on and your boobs falling out, if you were under age you could get in no problem. the staff were friendly, but they were the only thing good and clean about this pub. The quiz night on a Thursday was o.k and was not full of chav's so this was the only good time to go.

What a complete dive. Overpriced, tatty and dirty. Full of charva's, all with their giro's and family allowance buring a hole in their trackky bottoms.
Would I go back? I'd rather shove wasps up my arse...

I visited the big Club in the 1960 with my grandfather (Michael Bell of 2 Tenth St). Some12 years ago I visited the Club again with my Uncle, William Bell and my cousins Steven and David. I found the Club to be one of the best drinking places - especially on the pound a pint nights.

it's always a great night out spending friday evenings at the big club. upstairs is for the rockers (which is where i go of corse) and downstairs is for the more rave lovers...but suprisingly there's hardly any fights between the two!

This club is the finest and most friendly place on earth after you have had a dozen pints down your neck followed by a few whiskies. just try dancing the scottish reel here.

The Big Club is somewhere to go before you go clubbing. Good music, cheap drinks, great atmos- what more do you want?? Its the people in there that make it the great place it is- Hordeners!!!
