A very friendly and welcoming pub with truly excellent staff. Rooms that are just what you need, not too much or too little, and a mighty and very tasty breakfast to set you up for the next day. Always been made welcome, and have spent many a late nite at the bar talking with the locals and the staff. :)

Very friendly owners and locals made our recent stay at the Lamb Inn very enjoyable. The rooms were lovely and clean, complete with en-suite and to top it off a great breakfast too. We had an excellent stay. We would definitely visit the Lamb Inn again and encourage others to.

Tacky, old-fashioned pub. Unaffected by the smoking ban as it smells awful inside. Town centre pubs much better and a short walk away.

Run by a friendly laid back family...Excellent value..We paid 150.. B&B for 3 nights. We wanted a bed, it didn't have to be a 4 poster in a castle, just a clean bed with a shower. We got exactly that...a nice bedroom..a great breakfast...a superb base for what we wanted to do, walk and cyle around the Forest. The pub is used by alot of friendly locals who made our evenings enjoyable too. Excellent

Too clique, would be more appropriate to have 'saloon style' swing doors! As everyone turns round when you walk in and continues looking the whole time your there! If your not local you will be made to feel it here.....don't bother!!
