Railway Inn, Skiptonback to pub details please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.
Now open again, unexceptional pub, I am only posting a review to update the status.

Still standing. But now closed. Looks as if it hasn't long been shut though.

well looked after if fairly spartan traditional, unspoiled and triangular-shaped street-corner pub on the edge of Skipton town centre. No Guinness on when I went but the Tetley's Mild made up for it. Quiet and not much atmosphere when I was in one Saturday lunch but friendly enough and worth a visit.

Great old fashioned pub on corner of a busy junction, well preserved inside with little done to damage the pubs interior, great pint of tetleys too. well worth a visit.
|
Interesting looking corner pub on the outside but brightly lit and lacking any atmosphere on the inside. Only Tetley bitter and, I think, Mild being sold in the cask ale department. A local pub best left to the locals rather than a must visit pub for the Skipton visitor.

Friendly local close to Tescos. Narrow bar, cask ales & good service.
