Nice little place but as the last person fed back it is always quiet. Always have a few real ales on tap. Staff are friendly. Hope it survives.

The Vic has decent beer, a nice main bar area, and a good taproom with pool table and jukebox. In some ways you dont know why it has struggled to get clientele in recent years, but most of the time you walk in and its pretty empty. Hope they turn it around, as they are a lot better pub than many in the shipley/saltaire area.

Pretty good pub I'd say. Good real ales, nice interior and its always dead so you can hear yourself think while you're reading the paper.

Struggled over recent years to keep going, changed landlords again after a period of closure. Can't understand why it doesn't work - perhaps too many changes in recent years? Note to new landlords; money needs spending on the damp walls and the bogs; try taking on Fannys. Get a full -on - full beer range; no John Smiths, Abbot or Tetleys; reduce or change the Brit lagers; allocate a small area for light meals; lunch or tea but not late; get the regulars away from the bloody bar; get an extensive snack selection; In winter keep it warm and light the fires; improve the lighting. And remember, if you are going down the sky sports route you will be competing with the Ring o Bells up the road - could be tough. Good luck.

Good range of beers, friendly enough. A decent pub, not every exciting and a bit scruffy, but much less crowded than Fanny's over the road. If you're going to Fanny's you might as well pop in here too.

A pub of two halves... several (6+) real ales on and friendly staff are a good thing. A massive over-reliance on tedious quiz nights, karaoke and other nonsense are bad. Should stick with what it does well, but with Fanny's across the road, admittedly it may be hard to entice the discerning drinker.

Very busy on a Wednesday due to quiz night; good beer range but real ale not the dominant feature. Worth a visit but strong competition from Fanny's over the road.
