Owned by the same people that run the Longbar, Mardyke and the Coronation so expect cheap prices. It's even painted the same colour as the Mardyke, must of got a job lot on the paint! Small beer garden out the back for the smokers. I had a courage Directors, it was wallet friendly. For atmosphere I probably preferred the Red Lion around the corner.

only been here a few times, nice volume on the juke box, nicely priced beer, felt a bit on edge to be honest but it is a local pub so.. could do with a clean, nice barstaff, good entertainment

sort of related to the mardyke . but appeared a bit more upmarket , there being plenty to glad the eye. c/best only , not bad i supppose , very crowded opn a saturday night

A good advert for cheap beer coming at a price. Not the best pub in the area but not the worst either. I have a couple of pints when i'm up that way. Not much more to say really

In case you didn't know, this place became Libera's local a little while ago.

This pub became my local a little while ago and damn happy I am about it too! Whoever rated it 4.0 is bonkers. A great pub, a little rough around the edges, but surely that's what proper pubs are about? Mixed bunch of clientele, some cool Status-Quo-alikes, friendly bar staff, great old geezer collecting glasses, dodgy loos, naff music and as the Itchy Guide to Bristol says....the best bit..prodigiously low prices. You'll walk away from the bar smiling with incredulousness. Top.
