Good staff, great music, some fine drinks if you care to look/ask, cheap food for Saturday afternoon... gets busy Friday and Saturday night which is no surprise for central London - people shouldn't complain about this... just move on! No comment on the doormen, just go round the corner to The Champion if they won't let you in!

I had a brilliant time two weeks ago for my friends birthday, the music was wicked r&b, hiphop and some bashment it was a Friday night. I would definately recommend this pub, nice atmosphere,comfortable seating and classy people.!!!!! I'm going there for my b'day in Dec.

Don't know what the people who are complaining about this place are talking about! I've been here on both Fridays and saturdays and have never waited more than a few seconds for a drink! I come here for the music which is a refreshing mix of dance and house and a bloody good change from all the repetitive crap played everywhere else in London. A good place to come hang out and dance if you dont want to be surrounded by a bunch of loud mouthed beer swinging drunkards.

i think its fabulous, i normally go for happy hour during the week, the staff are friendly the drinks are cheap and the tequila is divine! did recently go on friday which was a bit of a nightmare as it was rammed so i had to stand at the bar with my 10 tequilas!

A bar for office workers on the pull who don't mind paying stupid bar prices for idiots to take ages to serve a drink. Avoid.

I went last Saturday I had a wicked time, they were playing really funky house which is better than the r&b everybody else is playing, get there for happy hour as cocktails are not only great but cheap as well, if your a bloke theres an added bonus that girls out-number guys about 3-2-1 its like being in heaven and they're mostly fit and classy. You have to check out the chick who's in charge she's totally fit

Nice venue, nice girls, happy hour just about okay,Happy hour cocktails just fizz no kick, avoid beer at �3.35 a bottle, waiters great if your a girl, if your a bloke allow another 25 minutes to get served, ooh and a quid a piss..... great.

The new Wax Bar is a major improvement over the old Bar Madrid (they don't have dance classes for a start - at least I haven't seen any). The cocktails are super and very inexpensive during Happy Hour. The Champagne cocktails are particularly impressive. The food is a bit hit and miss, microwaved nachos etc., though reasonably priced at Happy Hour. The staff are very, very nice and polite and helpful. The decor is interesting but don't drink too much upstairs - or you might just slide off your chair. I recommend this place for a pleasant evening.

the service at lunch time is awfull, the staff dont seem to be able to handle serving more than one person at a time, and worst of all are unfriendly!!

On Saturdays this place contains some of the most beautiful women that you are ever likely to see in London, lots of latin stunners. I went there with a girl I was seeing at the time and spent most of the night paying absolutely no attention to her, I spent it staring at the stunners on display. I tried to get in a week later with a group of friends but we were turned away because they don't allow in groups of men, which is both sexist and stupid. We were there to chat up the women not fight or cause trouble. It is a pretty good place but its admission policy needs an overhaul.
