Nice enough pub in a nice area, but food isn't anything to write home about unless you like everything burnt.

It's about time that there's a place like this again. The new manager has replaced the pool table with comfy settees & soft lighting & lost the chava element. Fantastic home cooked food & excellent beers combine with the friendly staff to make this a memorable experience

Fantastic food which is now served 6 days a week on both a lunch time and in the evening. The new management have done a wonderful job, the whole atmosphere is one which is friendly, a true country pub.

Friendly staff and the sunday lunches are excellent. The pub also boasts a most pleasant beer garden with children's play equipment.
