Great Pub! What can I say; I visited this pub whilst staying with family over the Christmas period. I have recently revisited and it gets better, the saloon bar has been elegantly refurbished, stunning original teak / oak floor boards amazing genuine art deco features, domed ceiling and fine details in the intricate ceiling, a great atmosphere, and an unexpected break in the norm for this area - class beers, featured in CAMRA’s recommended drinking guide, and the food was bang on for value, quality - these guys know what a pub should be! We visited 3 times during our stay with family, I would suggest this as a secret destination!

Massive brawl on New Years Eve...and no one at the pub will come forward and say anything...I think that is disgusting. Several people have been seriously hurt and this pub doesn't seem to show any care on concern.

Always was a pub with a wonderful atmosphere when we used to come here for bar billiards (last century).

Smart 1930s style pub with an attractive original-looking interior. Good range of beers from local(ish) breweries, the Oakleaf Piston Porter being especially nice. Probably the best pub in Lancing.

In some of my other comments about Lancing pubs I said - in a nutshell - "they are bad"!!!! However I was not entirely right. This pub is the exception. Clean, very clean! good beer. nice people behind bar, tales from other customers of very nice thai food thursday friday and saturday evenings.

Good community pub in residential area with some well kept ales.

Very acceptable. Went in public during the day and no dreaded loud music. Very cheerful and happy barmaid - Gig from Thailand. Quick food service with very enjoyable choice. Lounge continues Thai connection as chef's wife is from there and they have Thai buffets on certain days. English carvery at weekends - very good and reasonably priced

Went there last week, very dark and sparse looking. Couple of decent guest beers, could without being so keen to get everyone out after an evenings drinking.

Under new managenebt, this pub now does interesting guest ales and is generally well appointed. Could do with being nearer ther station!
