Fourways Inn, St Minverback to pub details please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.
I was surprised at how spartan the interior was.
There seemed to be no comfy chairs, and the benches were part of the structure with very straight backs, no pictures or ornaments.
We'd had better pints of St. Austell's in the locality too.
When the barman asked me for the money, the locals' conversation stopped, as if I'd been charged a tourist rate maybe.
As I left the bar there were chuckles, but I couldn't discern about what.
If you'd arranged a pub so a fight would cause minimum damage, it would be like this.

What can i say about this little village gem.
My dear old mate (who sadly passed away last year) has been coming here since the 60's put me onto this pub.
Food supurb, locals very freindly & beer very well kept. I'm going back soon for me annual holybags to st minver & cant wait.
They also do a great brekkie to set you up for a swim & a surf at nearby Polzeith.
Highly recommended.

Great pub with a lovely atmosphere. Tribute is always a great pint. Food is superb value for money. Steaks, ribs, scampi and home made beef vindaloo are always top drawer. Only criticism is they don't take cards so make sure you've got plenty of cash!

Only "proper" pub in the parish. Lively bar with a friendly welcome. Consistantely good food and drink, same family landlords for over 40 years. Best to book a table in holiday season, but staff will always fit you in, also has a good wine selection. Humans welcome if accompanied by a responsible dog.

Exellent village pub with great real ale - Sharp's & St Austell. Exellent B&B, squash court, close to beaches, golf courses. Landlord & staff very hospitable. Dogs welcome.
