clean friendly welcoming pub, great staff and landlady who have a good banter with all customers. away fans made to feel very welcome here. good selection of pumps and real ale was lovely and well kept, was happy to see that they sold thatchers gold, drinks prices are excellent after going from the griffin. the best of the 4 pubs would recommend it to anyone.

Family run pub offering a good friendly service. Keenly priced, much lower than the other pubs. Nice atmosphere and a nice pint or three.

This was the third stop on our 'Brentford Corners' crawl. Having visited the Princess Royal and the New Inn before Brentford v Southampton, we paid this one a visit straight after the game.

What a disappointment. After the New Inn was so welcoming, this was rough as. When we asked the bar staff what real ale they had on, we were told we were "better off trying down the road".

I ended up drinking a pint of some awful watery lager in front of a massive big screen while a big bunch of Brentford fans chanted outside and tried to kick off a big fight with the away fans. Very intimidating atmosphere for a group of neutral/away fans. Then on the way out some idiot chav grabbed my balls - I couldn't believe it.

If you've got a pair of brain cells to rub together, I'd give this pub a wide berth. Certainly if you're an away fan going to Brentford, go to the New Inn down the road - better beer and no attitude from the locals.

I had a pint of courage best which was fine and the service was excellent. As a neutral football fan looking in at a fixture I liked (a Hartlepool fan watching Brentford v Oldham) one of the young lads in the pub phoning his mates as "an Oldham fan who was on his own who you should come down and kick his head in." I would not recommend any away supporters or any neutrals going to this pub.

I quite liked this little local once I had found the entrance after the third attempt. I only had a half (1.50 Carling) whilst I sat by the dartboard reading my newspaper, but got a relaxed feeling from the place. I would say that Id pop in here next time Im watching the Bees, but I think it gets extremely busy.

Nice little pub, with a good atmosphere on match days. Very traditional and good service. Well worth a visit.

A football pub, this is on the corner of Griffin Park, one of the 4.

Was a traditional old fashioned pub. I went on a football day so it was particularly so. Seemed OK, if a bit rough round the edges.

A smashing pub, spacious, firendly and welcoming with a pool table and a fair selection of beers. Plenty of room for having a chat or losing at pool.
