I've dropped by a couple of times recently and the beer has been excellent. A quiet pub in the daytime so great to rest with the dog.

First visit since it became the Mucky Duck 2 out of 3 cask ales available on our visit, the ale I tried was excellent.

Lovely place worth a visit. Fit guys and nice staff.

Grubby, dirty local gay bar which seems to have seen better days. Strange crowd and not particularly friendly.

I have visited this pub from Eastbourne in the past and it has always been fine. However on my visit last week I see it has been taken over. It now seems dirty, full of dogs rubbing their bottoms on the carpet (worms?) and when a couple ordered burgers and chips, the waitress went out of the pub to nearby Morrisons to return with the food). Not cheap either. Gone downhill and won't visit again.

Lovely pub with super atmosphere and wonderful ales - Tony, the Head Bar Person, is wonderful, friendly, entertaining and makes my twice yearly visit worthwhile! See you on Saturday!

By far the best place to get served during recent pride celebrations. Full Marks to the star for the event

become my regular now,it's a gay pub without the bitchiness of the rest, nice friendly people and has the feel of a real pub with traditional beers and decor, keep up the good work!

Good fun place ale in reasonable nick to.

Visited the other day, What a really atmospheric old pub, you know, one of those side street pubs you keep meaning to go in. Sadly, for me, it's another gay pub so I wont be going back, but if that's your cup of tea, I would recommend it from a drinkers point of view.
