Became the 'Bohemian Lounge' although pretty un-BoHo minty green colour scheme and bright lighting. Didn't last. Now closed once again. NEXT!

Now closed. Being refurbished and opening as...??? Dunno. Rumour has it that it will be an Indian restaurant/wine bar. Sounds a little odd. We'll wait and see what incarnation it takes...and how long it can keep in business.

A pub that really loves its beer and a very friendly bar where people of all sorts chat wawy to each other. But worth a visit for the beer alone

These poor reviews must be about the Dragon before it changed hands in August 2005. The new landlord is the man who used to be head barman at the battle of Trafalgar near the Station, one of the best pubs in town. The Dragon used to look like a drug dealer's dream with dark corners, dismal lighting and dusty clutter everwhere. It's now much cleaner and less claustrophobic and the new menu, served Monday to Saturday evenings, is apparently excellent; there's a good selection of beers, ciders and wine plus some exotic rums and vodkas. One drawback is the lumpy wooden furniture but once that's gone it'll be a Kemp Town gem.

Its' OK. Thats about all I can say, some of the locals love it. I visited on a night when they had a rock group on and had to leave, complete with headache, shortly after. Why oh why do small pubs pay good money to groups that blast there customers straight back out the door. Is it because they are a crap group but you wont notice how bad they are with your fingers in your ears.

Used to do fantastic food, but standards have slipped a bit in the past couple of years. Beers are OK, but some of the barstaff aren't really on the ball.
