This is now called the Corner House. It's in the GBG and it looks the part from the outside but inside it is too food and family friendly to be a decent pub. There wasn't a great selection of ales - they did have a reasonable pint of Hophead but at a price.

Stumbled into a gay 'cabaret' here centered on an old bloke calling itself Sally Vate! I very nearly vomated...stay away to avoid low pub standards and nits.

Run-down, scruffy and gay....now called The Stage. Avoid.

Still very much a bit of a state decorating wise and needs some new furniture as most is old and scruffy. Beer garden has good decking but not clean and no decent furniture outside. Can't say the people in there are much friendly either, Needs some serious changes !!!

tried on way home to Brighton scene - what a dump! really sad for a gay pub. the gents was filthy and the customers all seemed to be on something other than the juice. Other than the barmaid not a soul even gave me eye contact. best wipe you feet on way out and piss on your hands be safer than using the gents .. wont be bac

In answer to the question - no they are no gay friendly pubs in Worthing. In fact there are hardly any friendly pubs at all in my experience.

Friendly enough, bar staff chatty but the "ladies" is far too small and there's NO mirror.

Interested to read a comment that this is Worthings only openly gay pub - does this mean there are pubs that a gay friendly, in Worthing? Does anyone know where these are?

This used to be the Anchor in my day. It was a bit of a dump back then but it was taken over a couple of years ago by a gay couple that cleaned it up. It is now Worthings only openly gay pub which is the reason I no longer frequent the place.
