under new management Steve & Beth are bringing this pub back to life again. Its warm and welcoming, garden has also had a clean up very comfortable to sit in and a bit of a sun trap. Food is good and reasonably priced. They have Poker evening on Wednesday night, quiz nights on Thursday's and music on Saturday evenings with duos and bands and karaoke on Sunday nights. Have been in a few times now and would recommend its well worth a visit.

used to be THE pub to go but is a massive joke now. Smells in there as well. I have also been a witness to a (different) incident involving a regular. I went to help the person and got asked to leave as I was not a regular - Bizarre ! Needless to say none of my friends will go in there now as quite frankly it is a joke of a place now .

Rip off place, a small orange and lemonade 3.00. several people questioning the prices they were charged when we were there. Indifferent staff in what could be a nicer pub.
|
Not the most comfortable pub in the world, and a little bit on the pretentious side...

This used to be an excellent town centre pub but has really gone downhill recently, the low point being that a friend was recently attacked in the bar and the staff were really reticent to help her afterwards due to the fact the assailant was one of their regulars. Not a great attitude to their customers and sadly a good reason to avoid the Wheatsheaf in favour of much better pubs elsewhere in Worthing in the future.

Not a great choice of real ales. Music rather loud so everyone shouts at each other, not the place for a quiet chat or reading your library book, but clean and well furnished.

Id it true Mr Stafford has just bought the sheaf? Is so get some decent Euro Lagers such as Budvar Dark and Staropramen on tap.

Best town centre pub in Worthing, Spot on.

Nice town center pub, worth a pint. Small garden out back and a few seats in front by the main road but it's allways been friendly and a nice place for a break from the shopping before you go back and find your cars been towed away.
