Reopened and is now very posh but the clients seem to be the older born and bred Brentford characters as opposed to the New upper crust toffs moving in to the area Doubt I’ll make a habit of drinking in here and I’d love to know who’s idea it was to have the men’s toilet the way it now is.

At the moment it’s closed and unsure if it will reopen

Good range of beers and atmosphere. Finalist in local Pub of the Year competition. About time BITE updated the name though.

Visited here on a Friday afternoon - and really, I thought it was one of the friendliest pubs I've been in in quite some time (and I go to a lot of pubs). All the other customers knew each other, but I didn't feel at all out of place or unwelcome, and one of them even persuaded me to join in the conversation.

Since Steve in the Magpie decided not to open till 16;00 on Boxing day a visit to O'Briens seemed in order. I was pleasently surprised, 4 real ales, a wide selection of foreign beers and due to the Magpies stealth rises is in a comparative price range. Time to wake up Steve!

Oh come on Rollo, it's not that bad. It's now called O'Briens II but despite the Irish name has some real ale on tap and is comfortable enough.

A bit scary and the ceiling is very low. Long time since I went there to be honest, and even then it was just the once. Good for: Hard midgets.

It has the smallest beer garden I think I've ever seen. There are some amusing limericks around the place
