No longer a pub but a new-fangled pizza joint. Great pizza, but a bizarre ordering system which ends up with you having a gizmo that beeps and flashes when your pizza's ready. Great staff. Great pizza. But be ready for self service.

Soho is just what Christchurch needed. Go drink in the Sh***y Ship if you do not like it here.

Incredibly expensive beer, lots of people trying to look attractive and bouncers on the door to keep out the old. Whenever I have had to drink here I have always left after a pint and gone to the Thomas Tripp.

Had my 50th in the upstairs function room so shouldn't be too critical, but I do miss the old Castle Tavern. I'm afraid I'm just an old f**t and don't like these new-fangled places with their new-fangled decor - and of course new-fangled prices.

Even if this place is a tad on the faux-classy side, it is at least a decent alternative to the usual Christchurch pubs and can attract a younger crowd.
They tend to have one or two ales on (usually the rather drab Ringwood or Courage) but the real let-down are the prices, which are extortionate even by London standards. 3.10 for a pint of Becks?

Bring back the castle tavern and all those cardigan wearing real ale drinkers! Not really....It adds a bit of life to Xcurch that is different to every other pub in town.

Please someone - remove this 'pub' from Christchurch and take it somewhere else.

Fantastic unique pizzas, great atmosphere and wine. Had many great evenings there. Does the best coffee during the day. Soho has been great for Christchurch.

Did'nt feel at home here at all! Snobby place which is a shame because the pubs which used to be here were excellent!

It once had a ghost - I wonder where it is now. That place was once a good ale house, but now the Castle is history
