I think this pub may have gone for good as drove past today and didn't look like a pub anymore.
Any news on this anyone?

I had liked this place in the past, but drove by today and saw that it was closed, shut up and for sale as a freehold. (Another H&W pub biting the dust?) However, this gave me the chance to re-visit the excellent Crown and Victoria just down the road.

He must have been good, it's closed! Lovely pub but needs real publicans who know the business to inject something new and different when it reopens. The last couple were distinctly average at best.

Fantastic food from the new French chef and always a cheery welcome from Barry and Liz . The local Tintinhull ale and Speckled Hen on tap.

first time I have visited the lamb inn and was very impressed with the warm reception, delicious food and ambiance. I've been to a number of restaurants all over Somerset and the food at the lamb is definitely up there with the best - had a great time chatting with the staff too. Will definitely be back!
