A collection of moles !

Pubs don't generally have a "For Sale" sign outside (unless they're really desperate), but advertise in trade papers. This one falls into that category. Perhaps if you'd made an offer . . . . ?

If this pub is for sale (we couldn't see any sign of this), it is definitely still open. Ringwood Best & Forty Niner & Bass were the 3 real ales on. Stowford Press was the cider. A happy hour was advertised on Fridays from 4-7pm. But the drinks we had were not particularly cheap. There is a pool table in one corner and a skittle alley in an adjacent room. Playing pool is particularly difficult, as the walls are very close. The bar itself has a collection of moles on the fireplace. A reasonable village pub. But nothing particularly special.

Currently for sale 350,000. Freehold.

Strange sort of 'locals pub'. Comes across as being cluttered, but it isn't ( I know that doesn't make sense, but that's the best way to describe it). Usually has a good selection of ales on hand pump and all in very good condition. Can't comment on the food.

Many nice old locals who are friendly, ale sampled ok but fairly dear for this area. Landlord came over as a grasping type and def has his eye on the money. Not worth going out of your way, Organ Inn in warminster better.

I had a decent pint of "Proper Job" here tonight. The pub was busy, with a Skittles match in progress. According to "Pints West" the CAMRA branch was in attendance. I'll pop in again and see if the quality is maintained.
