The Three Kings was my final stop of the night in Twickenham, before heading to an old favourite (the Sussex Arms). Of the 5 new places I'd visited, this was the best. The interior of this corner pub was cosy and a quiz was in full progress. Fuller's London Pride is the regular ale. Guests were Purity Pure Gold & Twickenham Naked Ladies. None of these were really my kind of beers. But, the Pure Gold was in good condition.

A nice comfortable pub considering it's right on the main drag. Must be popular at weekends. Worth a visit.
I think I'd happily go back here if the manager would change the lightbulbs from 200w to 50w. Seriously, at the risk of sounding photosensitive this pub is waaay overlit.
I feel comfortable in the Three Kings. Alan is really nice guy; my wife and I and friends have also eaten here but its just a nice easy-feel pub where you are "recognised".
Nice little pub.Decent pint of ale (can't remember what was on sorry) and friendly Manager who brought out roasties for the bar as in days of yore. Think will only get better as it beds in.
went in there thursday night will definately be back friendly attractive staff and helpfull too unlike most pub staff who think customers are an intrusion on them this is traditional pub with a modern touch to it nice outside area to have your ciggie or just sit and drink most of outside is covered.
Really good little pub. Good food (especially the Sunday lunch), friendly staff and relatively child free at the moment it seems (which is nice in a drinking establishment I think). They also show the rugby and are doing a great beer and bangers breakfast for any World Cup English games on a Saturday morning. The place was packed and was a really good laugh!
popped in to see newly refurbished pub, I think overall its okay, staff seemed friendly enough and beer choice not bad. Bit quiet in there although probably needs a bit of time to get going again after being closed for so long. Will pop in again to see how it is doing
according to sign outside re-opening this weekend.used to be my local 30+ years ago may have a look.
Pub under major refurbishment, and new management. Should be good when it opens. Good Luck
Has been closed for about 6 months now, wish someone would take it on as it used to be a great pub
Please don't support this pub. The owner doesn't pay his staff and replaces them instead. Wonder what happened to the old staff? There's your answer. He owes a lot of people a lot of money. Be wise and spend yours elsewhere.

PUB TO REOPEN UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT IN JUNE OR JULY !!!!!
A welcoming pub that tries hard to please. Traditional looking inside and out, which can be a welcome change. The Twickenham Original was a nice pint too. Would not normally have chosen to go to a pub with karaoke on, particularly as most of the singing was dreadful, including mine during Delilah.
Is this pub re-opening? Lots of scaffolding up at the moment, and stuff going on inside.
will someone please sort this pub out.. there is money to be made
Please somebody re-open this place. What a shame...
was the best pub in Twickenham we hope it re-opens again soon with another landlord as good as Larry. Proper Pub
I'ts closed now.. for the forseable future... shame. probably the best pub in twickenham has now gone....oh well the smoking ban has killed another good pub.
Was closed on Saturday - this permanent?
Great food, beer and atmosphere. The best pub around!
Don't be deceived by the ordinary exterior The Three Kings is the place to go, especially now Larry has opened a Steak Restaurant in the Marque (Thurs, Fri, Sat evenings) - The quality of the food is amazing and the atmosphere is perfect for eating out, you wouldn't think you were attached to a pub at all. Also, pick a night with a band on and you're guarenteed a fantastic evening all round.
It's great to see that at least one of the pubs in Twickenham is getting it right! - Keep it up!

I just had a really good meal here and thought it was excellent value for money, cheapest and best meal out in Twickenham.
The best pub in Twickenham and the surrounding area. Larry is a gentleman and his staff are very polite and helpful. The music Larry puts on is top draw and gets the place rocking. I've never seen a hint of trouble since i've been drinking there. We had a few drinks in there at the weekend for a birthday and Larry ensured we had a great time, long may the craic continue.

The last poster was right - 4 or 5 years ago Sunday nights at Larrys was the best night out in the town. Don't know why it stopped. Also, I worked here for a while and the punters were the most generous tippers I ever knew of in a pub.

This is by far the best pub in Twickenham! If you do just walk past and not go in then you are the lesser for it. It doesn't need gimmicks-that atmosphere is in the people who drink there. The comedy evening was great-Jim did a brilliant job as the compere!! Larry the landlord is one of the most generous people you will be fortunate to meet and always welcome's everyone into his pub like an old friend. I do miss the music though...nothing can beat the old days on a sunday night (if you were there you know what i mean)

new comedy night started on Sunday. really good fun. Beer not over priced and at 5 entry it was value for money. To get the best out of this pub you need to get to know it and the people that go in there.
With the various TV's & large screen,it appears to be an upmarket sports bar;didn't rate the service too highly.
Before the refit it was so much nicer. Saw some excellent live music in here. They've done it up into a trendy pub, meaning they've stripped out the atmosphere along with the previously much more interesting decor. Bar staff used to be friendly but the one time I've been in since the refit was so bland that I don't rememeber the service.
For some reason, the one pub in Twickenham that I had never been in, like Mike2004.
Wasn't all bad - There are far worse pubs in Twickenham. Was very very quiet though which didn't bode well. All in all, an average boozer.

I have walked passed this pub many times, it used to be a dark, but busy looking hostelry. When I decided to visit this place on Saturday I found it had been refurbed, badly and cheaply. This is now a blandly decorated, bright pub with a few rugby shirts on the wall (after all it is in Twickenham). The Saturday night atmosphere was non-existent and I felt the barmaid thought it was a chore to serve me a pint. Suffice to say that I will continue to walk on by in future.
My liddle' London Irish hide away. Frequented by Young and Old (my grandparents drink there sometimes argggh), great "swing those pants with Celtic Yodeling" kinda fun.(Yes the McManus boys are at it again, although probably not as they are recording an album I belive). Great nights, good beer and in the middle of a refit when I went past on bus over the weekend. I will stop by and see when they re-open and post a note.
On approach you'd be mistaken to think that this pub doesn't offer much. Larry, the landlord, will change your mind. Friday nights in there used to be superb. Sadly, there's no longer a band which has reduced the atmosphere. Very quick staff and I've never had a bad pint.
larry is the best landlord around, makes it an awsome pub to visit on a friday nite. riverway play fantatsic music, 2 bad they going on tour soon but gd luck. gd place to spot rugby players from irsh and quins. great selection of beers and the staff are always friendly, what can i say everyone jus check it out!!

Definitely one of Twickenhams better efforts. Nice and dark and a nice amount genuine Rugby paraphernalia. Good for: An impromptu midweek session
