White Swan, Sheffordback to pub details please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.
ive been on a few occasions as food is cheap, quick and staff are nice. Ive never been when its busy as i only go in the week but obviously i understand how hard it is to get midweek business at the minute. The pubs set below the main road so it can easily be missed! Decor is simple and easy on the eye. I dont mind spending money as its going to people who run the business rather than a chain. Very cosy and relaxed inside. Looking forward to going out for a few weekend drinks here too!!

This is most definately the best pub in Sjhefford, Good food at reasonable prices, large garden great for children inside and out. Service is spot on a nice family run pub and would recomend.

GREAT PUB GOOD FOOD NICE STAFF WE HAD A GREAT NIGHT
|
Excellent pub with very good quality food a mixture of traditional pub food and more exotic dishes. Good range of beers and very helpful staff

I would suggest, to anyone who visited this pub prior to march 2008 to give it another try. recently taken over by a new family unit i found this place very relaxing with a great atmosphere, the staff where both friendly and willing to help, the pub it self has had alot of interial decorating and the furniture changed.
The food is fairly priced and a great choice for both a quick bar snack and a nice family get together, all in all i would say this place has gone from a dull drab and dreary place, to a fun and comfortable night out.

Went there for lunch last Wednesday. Bar staff reasonably friendly, the real ale we tried was in great condition. The food and eating experience was disastrous though.
My gf's steak was good, but mine looked like roasted shoe leather, and was just as difficult to cut/chew. Reluctantly, I complained and asked for a tuna melt instead (I'd gone off the idea of steak by then!). About 10 mins later, they delivered a sandwich to the table, and disappeared before I could comment. Eventually, I got my tuna melt, which wasn't very melted in the middle.
Our experience might be untypical, but it's the worst pub meal I think I've ever had. None of the staff, or the manager seemed that bothered. I don't plan to waste another visit by going back.

Wonderful riverside location in a nice little town. Great service, wide range of drinks on offer, food menu extensive, varied, interesting and good value for money. Several themed food nights were advertised (e.g Greek night, Indonesian/Thai) which are certainly worth a look. Will definitely be back. Highly recommended.

This is a very nice pub in Shefford, they do a wide range of food, service was excellent, don't agree with the last review, we weren't local when we went to this pub but the service was friendly. Also has outside seating in the beer garden with patio heaters.

We thought it was not a nice place, not a very nice atmosphere unless you were local - shame really nice ales but bit rough round the edges
