This Pub is now definitely called The Rylston. It is on the corner of a massive council estate and appears to be a pseudo gastro pub. It seems not to have a huge clientele. Not surprisingly with prices like a large whisky at £6.00 and a pint of lager for £4.50 only 2 days ago.

Now apparently a pub-restaurant called the Rylston.

Looks like it should be a Public Loo from the outside put us off going in.
|
Unfortunately it's the Pumphouse that has been demolished and not this particular dump. Still open when I went past in a cab this evening with its usual sprinkling of chavs on the steps at the front.

GOOD!!!!!

This pub has now gone. Went looking for it last Saturday. Not sure if it burnt down or was demolished, but alas it is no more.

Fairly typical estate pub best visited after a few pints. Had music on Sunday night one older guy on guitar and identical twin teenage girls on keyboards, bass. Atmosphere was edgy but what do you expect. The manager seemed to have control of the place. It could be 1973 inside. Far better than rubbish chain boozers.

Working class pub for sure, but even though Ive stayed there for 5 hours on a Saturday night I did not notice anything scary at all; definitely not any pretentious idiots or anything like that. People had a good time and kept dancing for long periods of time.

Its just plain scary.......

It would take more than a new broom to sweep this place clean. The last time I braved to enter, there seemed to be a large number of aggresive lesbians causing hassle to each & everyone. The beer is - as always - foul. The surroundings of the place require you to wear some kind of protective armour at all times.Perhaps if the whole area was fumigated, then the Norman might - just might - stand a chance. But I doubt it...

The Norman Arms has been taken over by new management and therefore the crap Karaoke is no longer a feature. The pub is now a lot cleaner and the beer is as good as anywhere else. Have not seen any trouble as the new management do not tolerate any form of aggresive behaviour.
The pub now has live music on Friday and Saturday nights.

Take notice of the comments about this pub. It is BY FAR the WORST pub in West London. Dirty, lousy beer, crap karaoke.A paradise for brain dead estate types who think a good night out consists of beating up complete strangers because they 'look different'. I would rather stick pins in my eyes before going in again.

Quite. The less alarming residents of the estate drink in the Pump House on Rylston Road. The Norman Arms is where the barstaff ask if you want ice in your lager. As I gave the British Queen 1 point I have to give this place 0.

If you are in the Fulham area and gagging for a pint, you might stumble upon this little pub on the Lillie Road.My advice to you is to die of thirst rather than step into this hell hole. Estate chavs and slappers add to an atmosphere in keeping with the warm, flat beer and dreadful karaoke. I really would rather slit my throat than walk into this cess pit of a boozer ever again.
