I have never, in my life seen or visited such an awful place.....very unfriendly (unless you have been welcomed in/not necessarily "known". The interior is like something out of "The Black Hole"....Drab, dingy & somewhat uncomfortable. Supposed to be un-licenced since 2008 but still, to this day, the owner/ex-licensee Mickey Taft, holds "lock in's" every Thursday evening right through to literally 8am Sunday Morning......This is not on & the only way he does it, is because he's installed little camera's all around he exterior of The Crown, so whenever trouble occurs, or Old Bill attend, Mr Taft knows about this as he watches it on his CCTV & therefore turns it down so as the officials have no complaint & say no more.....
Hardly fair 4 the neighbours is it....
If that were you or i, our sound equipment would have been seized a long time ago......
Hmmmm.......Dodgy......

After a lot of damage and violence the pub is now closed and looks unlikely to be open again

Full of grunting thugs when I visited. AVOID

New landlord here since Christmas. Seems the same as before. May be wrong though.
|
i poped in here the other day and cant understand what all the fuss was about the landlord ( mike ) was a big bag of fun all evening and as for the regulars , could not be friendlier . all in all a hell of a lot better than the first pup i visited (stumbles )
