Yuck. Just an industrial drinking establishment bereft of any character. Caters for the younger clientle, and competes with the Wetherspoons around the corner for the crown of blandest pub in Cambridge.

Don't bother. The pub has gone now anyway. It may buzz at the weekend but I think most of it's trade came from Wetherspoons overspill. No real ale. Not sure of the new name I will check it out. I think it has become a vodka bar now.

Still expensive but nonetheless not bad for a chain pub

Rat and The Parrot Pub in Cambridge is very very nice and it runs by my cousin and his girlfriend. They have got new staff in the pub now. It is much better with new people running the pub.

What a crock of shit. No real ales, they were out of John Smiths so you have a choice of overpriced cocktail pitchers, overpriced wine, lager or Guinness. I'll never say a bad word about Wetherspoons again. OK if you're under 18, otherwise forget it.

Nice rooftop garden but thats all.Lets put music on and pretend to have a dj.Ok if ya like R & B.To many students on the mince and think its cool to down shots.Very overpriced and not worth the money.

Typical Rat & Parrot. All the pubs within 200 yrds are the same though, the Regent St "strip" seems to be where the pub companies have decided the binge drinking is going to be concentrated, which is OK by me - at least yo know where it is, to partake or avoid depending on viewpoint

Terrible place, no bitter of any sort, had to drink coke, got it with ice (was never asked if I wanted it) and when I asked the prat behind the bar to take the ice out he used his fingers.

This is a bit of a student pub, however they play good music and the talent is the best i have seen anywhere. Takes a while to get served and can feel a bit like the invisible man when someone with breasts stands next to you, but all in all its good. Worth a visit.

I've never been keen on this pub after having to work my first ( and last) night on a packed satuday trying to make stupid cocktails for teenage looking youths. as i only worked one night i didn't get paid and had to pay 30 taxi home for the privelage as i wasn't allowed to leave early to get the last bus! As a pub its o.k, very busy at weekends but you tend to get short measures.

Used to go here when i lived near cambridge, buzzing at the weekends, cool roof garden bit. service is quite bad, but then there is a load of people about! and yes, lots of totty, for the girls as well!

This pub is ok if you go during the day, the food is very nice and reasonably priced. In the evening this pub is like a meat market and rammed to the brim with people so you are constantly being pushed and knocked. Drink prices are on the high side and you cannot hear the music even if you wanted to.

Oh, why go here at all? I've been in some very dodgy pubs in my time, but this place is the only time I've been told to f off at about 6 in the evening. No real ale, no atmosphere, bouncers. Ugh.

well as i live in cambridge i have been there soo many times but i dont know why. the music isnt that great, they dont have a dance floor and their service is kinda crap but they do do nice drinks just stay away from the big cocktail of cosmo as it tastes like petrol but i does get u drunk really quick.

No real ale. As the other reviewers point out, a fine place if you're 18, drink alcopops and are looking for easy "totty". Otherwise avoid at all costs...

On any given night - especially weekends - this place is sure to please in the category of "hot totty". I was here on Friday night and being only my second such outing in Cambridge, I was over the moon with the amount of eye candy and the polite rugby players (door supervisors) watching those coming and going. With Quinn's just across the street, it makes for a great night out. 2.50 for a pint is reasonable by my London standards.
