went to the yacht on the day of opening ,the was great the staff where very friendy ,they looked after my children with colouring books and ballons .
there where some teething problems as it was the 1st day but in all the service ,food and surrounding where great .
been back with friends and family 4 times in 3 weeks .LOVE IT

Have been only twice to this pub. On both occasions the female staff ( there was only one of them ) were both arrogant and rude. The staff did not appear to be concerned about customer waiting times, or customer priority. The beer was o.k, but I will never darken its doors again. Both times the pub was visited, the intention was to have lunch (afternoon visit ), the pub was not busy but many tables had empty glasses on them.
Will never go there again.

Last time we went there we left without being fed, as they'd closed the kitchen early as they couldn't cope with demand. It wasn't even that busy! Pity, as their steaks are usually good, even if the service is fairly useless.

I first visited just after their refurbishing & it was crowded so when we had to wait for our food for more than one hour I decided that was the reason.
My second visit has been another terrible experience: long queue for ordering the food (only one person taking orders) and another even longer queue to order drinks (again only one person taking the orders).
One hour later our food hadn't arrived and we ran out of drinks so I had to queue again (15 min) to get some more drinks.
We got our food one hour and a half after ordering!!!
I'm sorry but never again!

We have been to The YachtInn twice in the last couple of months for a pub lunch.The food on the first occasion was very good but on the second visit,it was exceptional.The kitchen staff were one person down and they were having to accept a delivery as we arrived.The tables were full and the staff were both polite and apologetic for the anticipated delay in the preparation of the meals.It was worth waiting for,very reasonably priced with five meals for less than �40,another �10 for drinks.The staff are superb,the food delicious and the surroundings relaxing.I highly recommend this Inn to all.
