Popped in here a couple of weeks ago after looking round the power station, pleasantly surprised, the pub was heaving as a big match was on, staff as friendly as you like despite being so busy, and the place was spotless. We managed to bag a table and spent an hour imbibing decent wine and good atmosphere, shame it's not in our usual neck of the woods as we would definitely visit again. And again.

a pint of marstons pedigree is currently being knocked back(3.40) although the pub has three handpumps the beer selection is disappointing as the other two offerings were flowers and youngs bitter, the place is quiet for new years eve however i guess theres still a couple of hours to go, service was welcoming and friendly,6/10

Managed to get back for a drink at this little hostelry and found it equally as good as the last visit. The food was excellent and didnt break the bank either... Theres a new chef there now and the variety on offer was great .. everyone who i was with had something different and all commented on the quality. Portions were very generous too. It might have travelled through the gastronomic doldrums at one stage but has sailed out the other side with all flags flying !! We even stayed on for the friday disco too for a while and had a laugh guessing who did all the 60s and 70s tunes. real fun. Working hours permitting we`ll all get back there again in the not too distant future. Try it out.. we did with no regrets whatsoever.

I found this pub by accident one friday and found it very friendly and a nice congenial atmosphere. It had a disco on which played some really classic stuff from the 60`s to the 80`s not all the obvious music but some real good oldies. No house, rap or clubby music just great music for over 30`s and onwards. Its often there some saturdays as well but not every week. The word is saturdays are really good !In the words of Arnie,...I`ll be back !

Quiet pub tucked between a railway line and an elevated road. Pleasant enough, but only one ale available. Worth considering as part of a Battersea crawl as there are two more pubs within a minute's walk.

dunno whats happened to the chefs food since july but the sunday roast was appauling no the only person who knocked it up was aunt bessie.....mums aren't the only one who go to iceland.

Took some friends of mine here the other day (as i visited in April for first time & loved it) - they were all VERY impressed too with the Chef's variety of good-value food & the excellent service. The lads gave the beer top marks! We'll be back!

This place was really tucked away but well worth finding! Food was really good value for money, friendly service and beer was excellent. A good, really old-fashioned London pub - nice to see there are still one or two left!

Was once the Old Red House... opposite Battersea Dogs' Home. Gets busy - nice little patio area.
They've usually got one real ale on, which is generally in pretty good nick.
Strange staff. Friendly but... strange. Odd-looking.
