The 80s cheese is still there - probably in both definitions - and while it is hard to fault a place that provides a home for lone drinkers of a certain age of a weekday lunchtime, this was truly dire. Help for Heroes and poppies very much in evidence.

I had my first ever pint here when I was 15! Haha. Only been in a couple of time since. I think you know what you are in for when you go here, so it is pointless criticising it. People having a good time. Nice to see, but I won't be getting involved.

No Real Ale Sadly, however they had a great dj playing loads of 80's cheese when visited and he plays requests straight away, well worth a visit 4 a fun evening out away from the big pubs n clubs, 8/10

I really hate this place :-( I get the bends if I have to go in. It's where the people who are too old to keep going to the Bigg Market end up, post children. Only ever been in the evening, so maybe that's the time to avoid.

Think of the slaughtered lamb, then think of something 10 times worse and welcome to this place.
Charver heaven

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH WHAT A PLACE Best sampled after visiting nearby Collectables and Primark on a Saturday afternoon. In a world of chain pubs and anonymity, this is something of a treasure. Just be careful who you wink at.
