Now closed and boarded up. Looks like another Tesco Local on the way.

Yes, renamed the Atlas, and a revered home of bar billiards at its best, Jim (4-times World Champion) plays from here. A good place to visit.

Complete change here. Its now the Atlas pub and restaurant. I used to drink in here about 35 years ago when I was building a house round the corner and remember it pretty much as the other reviewers have described. Might give it a try in its new guise.

another one of those strange pubs. come on you know the ones. run by the locals for the locals. but strangely enough its not a bad place. i was a bit disappionted that they had lost there chief and have stopped serving food for the mean time. but its got good parking facilities and a sports bar. and the staff are friendly enough.its got reasonably priced b eer and ale.and a good selection of pool and bar billards tables. and yes the ex world champion bar billards guy plays in the pub team here. not a bad place to stop for a quick pint, but lots of room for improvement.
