Question: Why would I want to go to a local pub which has bouncers on the door? Answer: On a postcard please!

I agree John, only thing its famous for is police attention, yet its been the same for the last few years! Crap selection of ale to.

Yet another name change. It's now known as The Famous Old Pines which is risible as it's neither, being only some twenty years old and famous for naff all. Inspector Knacker might regard it as infamous however. BTW, this place is one and the same as The Pines which you have listed as a seperate pub.

Now reverted to its original name; The Pines

Only been a couple times, didnt see any trouble. Beer tasted a bit funny. But stay till 11 for the classic Yogi Bear song dance!

Yep, I agree with John. In the day its alright, and watching football is good there. But can kick off in there due to the amount of mouthy people in there.

If you're one of these people who think that the only way to end a night on the piss is with a good scrap then this is the pub for you. If you're normal like the rest of us try the nearby Hop and Kilderkin instead. Video cameras abound in The Glasshouse but it still doesn't prevent things from kicking off with monotonous frequency. If you hear police sirens in Winton any time after 6PM, this is where they'll be heading. Oh and the beer is crap and overpriced as if that matters in a place like this.
