No real ale but at least there was an atmosphere in there. Very much a locals' local I think.

Hopefully I have made this pub a lot better than it used to be! we have many different things going on at the cannon such as live music, open mic nights and bingo etc.... hope to see you come down as you would be more than welcome.

Reading the previous comments is surprising as I have recently moved to the area and went in the cannon on a Saturday evening, the entertainment was very good and found the locals and staff very welcoming!! This pub has clearly change over the years.

What an awful pub. I went in once and was insulted straight away by the haggard looking barmaid just because I took a couple of moments to dare survey what they had on offer. Full of odd looking people obviously not allowed in the other pubs around the area, you couldn't get any more wrong'uns in one pub if you tried.

God help the bar staff if they are now stuck with the drop-outs, banned etc..from the Surveyor ! see previous review.

Oh my God, I can't stand this place and will stay clear. Full of the riff raff with kids in tow that are no longer welcome in the surveyor. One thing I can say is the bar staff are friendly.

This is a great pub in Molesey.
The regualars are good and friendly if you are to them.
Usually got football when there is a match, can get quite busy.
Well air conditioned so it doesnt linger cigarette smoke.
Good for families too, got a pool table and garden with kids climbing frame.
10/10!

Yikes! You'll be safe if you are a 6'6" skinhead who wears lots of cheap bling and says "Mate" a lot. Avoid.

enter at your peril. Regulars look like they might eat you...

New management. Better than it used to be, the locals are fine and the new landlord is friendly & efficient. No bitter on tap (years ago used to do a clean line of Ruddles County).

Without doubt, this pub and The Lord Hotham are the roughest pubs in the area. The Cannon probably edges it. Your choice.

This pub is ROUGH!...a bit like a Dodge City saloon when you walk in.......the locals all give you a good long stare, and the punters look a bit...er...in bred. Know what i mean????

A pub for regulars and the brave. Doesn't look inviting and I've never braved to go in. Small beer garden to one side with view of 2 roads. Always have football banners outside, so presume this is a keen football pub. I'd suggest going to other pubs in the area. The Bell is 1 minute walk away and much more inviting

When we were there, a bloke who looked very much like Finchy from The Office was also there. He was as pissed as I have ever seen someone who hasn't passed out (yet) but amazingly was still holding his own in the darts. The barmaid wouldn't serve him a half pint at last orders (and had verbally slapped him down for swearing a few times already), yet mystifyingly she did actually serve him a whisky instead.
