Basic pub friendly bar staff good beer well kept. What more do you want.

Really friendly atmosphere, good mix of people and two or three ales on (usually Dark Star/ Harveys). It's not going to be to everyone's taste as it veers toward the crusty but you'll always find a good welcome.

Seems to have gone downhill recently.
Most nights all you see is the two or three bar staff, and two bouncers, not one punter in sight.

What a blinder of a pub. I've lived in this area for 9 years now and have frequented this place irregularly over that time. Such a wonderful atmosphere, lovely friendly staff and open late weekends! Good beer selection, usually dark star and harveys, plus a few more interesting kegs like leffe and hoegarden, although in my experience these last 2 are often unavailable. Thai food very reasonable too.

Strenuously eccentric pub (the landlord sports a fez!) with cheap beer (Harvey's and DS) and Thai food.

Nice Roast on a Sunday and the first place to introduce me to Potatas a lo Pobre. Yum. In other words, the menu is pretty eclectic - but that's Brighton. Usually got a couple of beers on too.

A great Pub on the edge of town, good music and food. definately worth a visit!

Really nice pub, good atmosphere with some great food that isnt bought in from caterers. Lots of candles and a good choice of drinkies.
