Fairly decent Wetherspoons in an old cinema building. Real ales on offer during our visit were Pedigree, Abbot Ale, Brains Bitter, Badger Pickled Partridge & Burton Bridge Santi-Freeze. They also had Old Rosie and Westons Vintage ciders on draught as well as three different bottled ciders from Gwynt y Ddraig.

Nice pub, no problem with a group (14) of us sitting together despite it being busy, good cheap beer and the usual 'spoons food. This was the first pub on our Abergavenny pub crawl and we ended up staying there all night.

what lets this pub down is that when you visit in the winter the air con is on full blast and yet in the summer the heating is always on! mixed customer base, mainly locals on the weekend. The food is not as good as in recent years.

THE PLACE IS RATHER BIG IT IS GREAT FOR PEOPLE IF THEY ARE WHEELCHAIR BOANDED AS IT PROVIDES A STAIRLIFT BUT NOT SO EASY TO REMOVEL AROUND THE TABLES YOU SHUOLD HAVE LESS SMOKING FACILITIES AS IT CAN REALLY GET SMOKY IN THERE AND NOT EVERY ONE WANTS TO EAT THE SMOKE OF A CIGERATE
