Cobblestones, Kings Lynnback to pub details please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.
Now closed and converted into a funeral parlour aptly....the landlord having retired, one of the 2 rudest landlords in West Norfolk. Take a walk around Lynn and you will soon find the rudest one.....

Don't go here.
The food was fine and the waitresses were nice but the geezer who seems to own or manage the place should not be allowed to interact with customers. He tried to over charge us by 8 luckily we spotted it (again non-itemised bill like another post advised). When questioned he simply stated that was the cost in a restaurant (If we didn't like it we should go to Wetherspoons). After we added it up for him he left with the bill again, after ages he returned and made out he was letting us off the money.
I advised him the food was good but we found him quite rude. He told me to Fu*k Off 3 times.
We pity the people that have to work with him.

I have to agree with sus63uk. This must be Britains most miserable pub. To be fair the waitresses are happy enough and fairly helpful. The waiter on the other hand is extremely rude & blunt and the barman is as miserable as sin (the owners). If you want to go somewhere where you are made to feel very unwelcome then I cant recommend this enough! Mexican food wasnt too bad for reheated frozen meals but the atmosphere made it an un-enjoyable experience and not worth it. We were charged over 300 and given an un-itemised bill and found it difficult then to remember who had what. I have received better service in McDonalds. As I have eaten in many restaurants all over the world I only feel it fair to give you a rating. Well done you have taken last place, 0 out of 10 for effort guys! I wont be going backever.

Bog standard food on offer at bog standard prices. But certainly not a pub as we know it. More of a "want-to-be-reastaurant"

Brilliant Mexican and English food

More of a restaurant than a pub. Popped in on a Saturday night for a pint before dinner, and found all tables "reserved", apparently for food eaters. The few chairs at the small bar were taken by what appeared to be the locals (older men), and we were charged 3 each for a pint of cider (London prices)! Found the atmosphere non-existent, dull, flat...owners (older couple) seemed bored and a bit grumpy - no smiles to be found here! Would not recommend this to anyone for a drink, and somehow got the impression that the food would be as lame as the bar side of things.
