Now still open although the name has been shortened to just Bar Naz, presumably because those who frequent it couldn't pronounce Nazdarovya

I think it says a lot about the state of the Watford 'scene' that so many people disliked this place. It was classy, played decent music and charged a little bit more to keep the pikies out. I liked it. Clearly pikies rule in this town and, as a result, it shut. No doubt will turn into another Yates' with plenty of fighting and the incumbent drinkers will be happy again.

Fantastic! Its shut. Serve's 'em right for treating paying customers like mugs and then wondering why it was always empty. And if the former guv'nor is reading this, then mate, I don't want a Big Issue. Ha Ha Ha. Pub Karma!

Bar OK, although can't understand the needs to keep putting the prices up during the evening every half an hour or so. First round for 2 1/2 pints was 5.90 and by the time we left was 8 odd.Decent music. Service as previously mentioned is rubbish. They don't understand what half a lager and lime is !!!! my friend got half a lager with squezzed lime in it rather than lime cordial (basics come on!)

Went in on Saturday, atmosphere was great. Bar prices and the competancy of the staff were not. On the back of the menu there is a proudly (if not somewhat arrogantly) written 'Pricing Policy' which is commendable but after my experience on Saturday it's laughable.
My 12 companions and I did not recieve one correct round at the bar, nor did the 'waiting staff' get a single order correct. Also ordering from the menus on the table was pointless since we were told several times "I'm sorry, thats not available, we have changed the menu". And the Sauvignon that we did get to eventually order was awful. If you're gonna charge premium prices you really should start supplying premium products and service or negative word of mouth will be hard to overcome.
But, like I said, atmosphere was great! :D

This is a great bar, but as said before not really one for Watfordians. Unfortunatly they dont take kindly to piss heads starting on everything and throwing up in the corner so a majority of the watford clan dont like it. Don't know why the service is being ripped, had a nice chat with the owner the night i went in, couple of free shots to see why the prices are different (boy is it worth the price) and a vip pass to his official opening party. Top bloke

The place to be seen in Watford. The atmosphere is great. Chandeliers and lots of space to sit down or to dance. Extremely drinkable cocktails, which are worth the price.

The reason this pub is always empty is that its the biggest rip-off known to man. The place is so far up its own backside its digesting itself. How they can justify charging more than the majority of West End bars is a mystery to everyone. Service reeks aswell. If you like this pub, please stay in there and don't go anywhere else in Watford as you are clearly a mental.

I can't work out why this bar isn't more popular? Ok it is expensive compared to other bars in Watford, but you pay more, the better quality you get right? Spacious, nice interior and table service with a wide range of good music, anything from The Smiths to old school house. Probably not a bar for most Watfordians but deserves to be more popular. A good alternative to Chicago's for late night midweek drinking.

Snazzy bar! Service is terrible though. Drinks are expensive and to be fair if you look back over the history of that building you'd think it was cursed!! Not only was one member of staff pretending to know it all he also was very rude to my friends and I! If the staff were any good it would be ok but yet another "cosmo" bar for watford to put up with!! PS Check out the door policy on the back of the menu! If your under 23 and drunk you'll be thrown out, what about us over 23! Way-hey!

A lovely place but the service is awful - sat by the bar for 15 minutes and no-one asked me if me and my friend were being served. Table service is non-existant and don't even get me started on the prices

Really cool bar. Lots of pricey cocktails to choose from and this does result in long queuing at the bar. Good mix of music, nice atmosphere and should grow in popularity soon.

Where the Pane & Table used to be - brilliant cocktails and looks fantastic!
