First class pub.On every visit beer brewed in back of pub been superb. Chaucer beer at 3.7 served at 2.30 a pint. A dark mild 5.5 served from barrel at 2.70.Would strongly recommend.

Very good unspoilt pub which brews it's own excellent beers and at very good prices. Ask if the 5.5% mild is on, at 2:70 a pint it is a must. This pub is a must.

Outstanding pub - brews it's own beer ans staff are very friendly. The interior of the pub is as a pub should be - the place is clean and the locals friendly - darboard available. keep up the good work.

2 bar brewpub on the outskirts of Bungay. It has a nice outdoor courtyard that was being used even in the cold weather. Only Green Dragon beers were available - Bridge Street Bitter, Chaucer Bitter, Gold and Strong Mild. Curry nights are advertised. Sadly there are no beers available to take away. Although I could have taken away a bottle of lemonade. Reasonably nice pub.

Popped in there last thursday (9th sept '10) and had a few cracking pints of the strong mild 5.6% @ only 2.60 a pint, be sure to ask for it as it's on tap and not on the pumps. yummy

A real boozer of a pub with it's own Brewery. The beer is particularly well kept, particularly the Bridge Street Bitter, not too many people in on a Sunday afternoon and shuts after 3pm but a good place to visit. The patio garden was very pleasant.

I have been here several times in the past.A very spartan boozer but none the worse for that. The Chaucer ale 3.7 % was supreme, the service was ever so friendly. The clientele were a bunch of old moaners( but not to bad). The shelves were rather bare which worried me as to the pubs future( a lack of stock is never healthy).Several Green Dragon statues (some fire breathing some not) festooned an upper shelf.Bridge Street and Gold were the other ales available on my visit.

Has a bit of an outdated feel but this place is well worth a visit. Real fire, real furniture and real ale. Three Green Dragon ales brewed on the premises were on offer. Wednesday night is curry night.

This is a great little pub for the dedicated real ale drinker. With its own onsite brewery it produces some excellent ales. My particular favourite is Bridge Street Bitter - a truly excellent pint! This pub is like how pubs should be friendly with great beer. Well worth a visit!!

A cracking pub, that we manage to visit a couple of times a year, great beers friendly locals, good food and a real fire , what more could you want?
on our last visit we popped in on quiz night, and even though we arrived after it had started we were invited to join in, and were given the questions we had missed, we were even given a litle help with "local knowledge" round.
spent a couple of very pleasant evenings there chatting with the local regulars who made us feel more than welcome.
If you get the chance make sure you pop in.

Had a laugh with the locals in this pub while enjoying the Green Dragon beer on offer. Very nice they were too. Sat at the circular table - no problem.

Great beer, the only thing going for it. Even after visting the pub several times my friends and I were treated very shabily when it came to accommodating the locals on curry nights (wednesdays). If there is less than five of you please don't try to sit at the large circular table next to window - you will experience the wrath of the curry team!

Love the place! Don't get there too often unfortunately. Nice selection of 'Home-made' beers you won't find anywhere else. Long may it prosper!

Friendly traditional boozer. Beer brewed out the back is eminently drinkable. The landlord is the brewer and chief taster and tester.
Real fires by prior request!
Food served lunchtimes and some evenings. Curry on a Wednesday
