I agree with barmaid of the year this pub is great i have sung there for almost 4 years now and i never once had any problems there . its always a great night out and all the locals are up for a laugh. i always look forward to being there the bar staff are brillaint and always join in the fun.

Decor isnt that great but thats the only thing that isnt, great night, great atmosphere no matter who you are someone will talk to you weather its one of the nice regulars or a member of the pleasent staff, the landlord is funny and will always say hello.
been in there on a few fridays and always had a great night plenty of drinks and laughs and usually a very good band!!

All these people couldnt be anymore wrong i moved to the area about 2 years ago and tried lots of different pubs to make my regular and this was the the best by a clear mile. Yeah it doesnt look the greatest from the outside but it is a very warm pub everyone is so nice an eager to chat especially if your a football fan, they have a great atmosphere and the entertainment is always fairly good whether it be a band or karoke night. Cant say enough good things about the place.

Not a scary as it looks from the outside. The people were freindly and the karaoke was great

A scruffy looking pub but due to its proximity to the main road I'm not surprised.
Inside the decor is a little 'tired' and worn but other than that its ok...not a place to go for an evening out I would say but on the whole friendly enough.
