A pub that can be very noisy if you go in on a Friday or Saturday. It has comfortable seating with a raised area at the back of the pub. Poor choice of real ales, only Greene King IPA on my first visit but Marston's Pedigree had been added for my later visits.

Lack the promise from it's appearance. Two ales advertised but only one available and that was after a lot of shouting back and forward between the barmaid and the kitchen. Once it was poured it was an OK pint of Celebration from the Conway Brewery. The pub was closing the following day until further notice....quite sad as it was in a prime location.

A pub with potential, unfortunately selling to many alco pops to deter the clientel it deserves. Two real ales both Conwy brewery and both in excellent condition. Excellent bar manageress/ barmaid who would be an asset to any pub. Current owners have it for the duration of the season (Hope they take it on on a more permanent basis) Conwy deserves a decent pub.

Only one real ale available - Purple Moose Snowdonia 3.6%. Food was good value and locally sourced, the beer was also very good. Seemed to have more atmosphere here than the other Conwy pubs though it is a bit canteen like. Could do with losing the bandits and the telly! The conversation was entertaining enough without them!

Traditional little pub in the centre of Conwy. Bar staff & regulars very friendly. 2 handpumps on the bar were both serving ale from Welsh micro-breweries at just 2 a pint. Both beers were in excellent condition. Food wasn't tried but looked good and the prices were low. Rear garden is a pleasant Sun trap.

Still a hangout for the local youth (they cut into the crickett on telly to watch the Simpsons!) but not a bad place at all. Local ales usually available.

Wonderful atmosphere and exceptional service and food ! The new proprietor has really made this a *must experience* pub ! More than two pulls these days. A warm, welcoming pub with 'locals' charm. We will definately be returning here every visit we make to Conwy !

Good place to start the weekend!

Pretty nice pub, but with only 2 pulls: Marston's Pedigree and a local brewery ale called Castle Bitter. The atmosphere seemed pretty good and it does have outside seating as well.

Care-worn locals pub popular with the 'pre clubbing' crowd on weekends. Lots of fun! Family friendly during the day with good value meals on offer.
