Does anyone know why this pub has closed, apart from the obvious, i.e. it was crap?

i was once a regular at this pub but like most i was driven out by the way it was and still is run the bad comments about this place are spot on ive seen voilence in there second to none and dished out by the people who run and live at this place i lost all respect for this couple and have never stepped back in there although i still find out things that they get up to her two sons are behind bars after nearly killing some one its about time they got rid of these people ron and tina or if the rumours are right knock it down do us all some good

i agree with most of the comments made,it could be a very nice pub. It's big , it has the biggest garden i've seen in the area, a great conservatory where the kids can enjoy themselves and make friends (and gives parents a bit of piece). The real shame is that the manageress is rude, can be standing by the bar with a pint and not even aknowledge the paying customer! The "assistant manager" doesnt know what he`s doing half the time, the staff ,well, both of them are ok but very slow,it could explain why the pub is always near empty. I think Greene King should look into finding someone else to run it or send them on some much needed courses!!!

Only been in here on matchdays, seems alright, nothing special.

Looks nice inside and out, with a lovely garden.....apart from that...VERY clicky!....Only one decent bar person...nice bloke with a beard....other than that...a tiny "cuddly" woman who was obviously too scared to smile and was quite abrupt when askin what drink you wanted, and VERY intimidating when SNATCHING your money from you...not very nice at all....I later learned that this was the boss, so the place dosnt really stand a chance when other staff are clearly following in her footsteps (apart from polite bearded bloke!)...I also hear that its closing down....with a bit of luck, it'll re-open with new management....saves me going to the high road instead. Standard drinks, with a few brightly coloured bottles on display behind the bar....which nobody obviously drinks......4 out of 10....

Large pub next to Northumberland Park Station, good for commuters and local workers, also a few hundred yards from Spurs ground. This pub is a great pre match pub, very lively atmosphere and friendly staff. The pub is big on sport, pool tables, darts boards and plenty of TV's to watch any major sporting events from anywhere in the pub. A great pub for any age, children are welcome, the menu looks good, but I admit that I haven't tried it yet. The pub has a nice garden area and conservatory. WE LIKED IT SO MUCH, WE BECAME REGULARS.

This pub takes some beating as the worst matchday pub in Tottenham. They only have two or three staff to serve a packed pub, they are both unhelpful and surly! This could be a very good pub if it were managed properly!

This pub is awful. Beer is very poor, food 'looked' the same. Kids are welcome, but only it seems, as the parents are the main clientele who sit in there hour after hour spending cash! They don't mind you taking your own fish and chips in from what I saw!

agree on the guiness but its a nice matchday boozer

The Guinness tastes like piss...Avoid

Very handy for Northumberland Park Station and Spurs home games. Large garden where people (including kids) may spill out on warm or busy days. No food served on matchdays (gets very busy), but plenty of hamburger stalls nearby. Beer was OK when I was there (can't remember what I had, though!)
