Another one closed probably from neighbour complaints making it impossible to trade as a pub. When will people learn not to buy a house near a pub if you dont like the pub.

Wow these people have really turned the pub around. Looks great and has a brilliant atmosphere. We thoroughly recommend to anyone wanting a venue for a party

Easily the best pub in Sandhurst. Landlord, Landlady and staff very friendly. Food just started up again. Breakfasts ,Large Pizzas, plus food menu. Two open fires plus live sports, including Saturday 3pm live Premier League match every week. Arranged a family birthday in the pub recently, booking the rear room free. Brilliant night out and excellent venue. Good selection of beers plus Quiz nights on Tuesdays and Meat draw on Sundays, always well attended. A cosy pub that is great for meeting friends. The Dukes Head is highly recommended and becoming very popular with the Sandhurst locals. The only downside is the Landlords dress sense, now that's worth a visit !

Our favourite place to enjoy a lazy drink... We are always 1st to hog the open log fire!! They have two!
Breakfast have just started again and they are now serving some srummy bar snacks.

Four handpulls, three in use on my visit - Abbott, Morland and a hazy but drinkable Hydes Jekyll's Gold. No food due to refurbishment. A real fire. Odd coloured decor.

The Lodden Valley Hullabaloo last evening was a cracking pint.
More please.

Brilliant pub, landlord is friendly, beer is well kept and the range of guest beers is quite impressive.

The Dukes Head is a great pub, landlord and landlady are really friendly the meat raffle on a sunday is brilliant. the pub is very comfortable with the chesterfield's and the open fire. Has two big tv's and a small function room which is free if you want to use it for parties. Well worth a visit

We used the Dukes Head for our daughters Christening a couple of weeks ago and really couldn't fault the venue. The Landlord and Landlady were extremely accommodating and the changes they have made to the pub are great. It has a really fresh, friendly feel and we will definitely be returning as well as recommending it everyone!

I recently used this pub for after my sons christening as a place for people to have a drink etc after word of mouth recommendations by at least three people locally whom I trust - they were not wrong either.
The new people Richard and Dawn are fantastic and could not have been more helpful - have been before and since with my husband and young ones and now consider it to be our new local though the nearest pub to us.
Lovely atmosphere and nice crowd of people every time and looking forward to being able to attend an increased number of evenings soon too.

Tried and Tested the New Breakfast Menu. Excellent value for money, will be going back for sure.

The new Landlord and Lady are lovely people, and the pub has been completely refurbished. In my opinion the best bar in the area by a country mile.

Looks like The Duke's Head is in the process of a big refurbishment. Decking to go down outside and young looking managers. There may be some welcome changes to come...possibly worth checking out soon

Three landlords in one year what's going on ?? Not very good at all for their regular's Last one in 30 yrs in the pub trade did'nt last much more than a month. My view in this pub is to wash the drains with the beer and turn it into flats. At the end of the day it's only GREEN KING .....say no more !!

Avoid - poor beer, poor landlord.

Slightly old-fashioned, in a proper way not a silly themed way like some nightclubs do these days.

No comments about this pub so far i see. Well what can you say about the Dukes Head? Certainly fairly quality ales about as its a Greene King pub. Don't be put off by the England flags outside it is certainly worth a visit
