A large, busy Holts pub with plenty out outside seating at the back overlooking the bowling green - very pleasant in summer!

Still as good as ever, with decent food as well as Holts ales. Well worth a visit if you're in the area.

One of the last survivors in Whitefield a place once known for it's many good pubs ,most of which have been demolished, turned into offices ,cake shops ,restaurants , or lager bars .
The Holts beers are always in good nick ,and like all of their pubs clean and in good order

Decent pub with a good pint of Holts and lots of outdoor seating and a bowling green at the back. Recommended.

friendly bar staff and of course well known for its bowling green at the back. bitter �1.97 for my visit 2 weeks ago - holts pub so you either like the beer, don't or still trying to make your mind up!

Excellent Beer Garden with two outdoor Tvs, currently have Setanta, Sky and foreign channel for Premier league matches

Holts pub in good beer guide but ale was below par on my visit. Equidistant to whitefield and besses o'the barn metrolink stops
