went here friday, no atmosphere poor ipa something out of the 70s, sorry not my cup of ipa....

Didn't get a very warm welcome when i arrived and the beer was nothing to boast about but is ok for a quick drink on the way through.

Friendly enough pub shame the GK IPA (only ale on handpump)tasted like vinegar that had gone off When i pointed this out to the barmaid the response went something like "theres nothing i can do about it".Shame there was't someone from the brewery present cos I would have asked him to taste the stuff and dispense with the GK advertising myth

Fantastic pub for an afternoon pint, nicely priced and served by friendly staff, worth the call in on your way through this once busy village

Good pub, regulars are friendly, good for sport watching. Staff are very friendly and welcoming unlike the ginger thing from down the road at the dragon with zero customer sevice skills!!

Just worth noting that this pub is not open at lunchtime during the week. Went for lunch today and found them tightly shut!!

First class family pub, great atmostphere superb food by chef John and the ambiance is raised by the personality and enthusiasm of his good lady Jane,the ales are 1st class and it is in a fine area for touring the country side.
