Lovely pub, excellent service and the kind of convivial atmosphere your humble narrator appreciates at his time of life. No ale, but the black stuff was well poured and enjoyed. One of the nicest watering holes in Belfast.

Worth a visit but no ale served.

Food is excellent, but despite selling top notch grub, it is still a pub,and a good un at that. Just what this English boy needs when he's on a cultural tour of the Belfast drinking holes with his Norn Irish friends I wish we had similiar in north London

Tucked away down Pottingers Entry which, unlike some other Belfast alleyways, is signposted and easily spotted from the High St. I found it attractive but fairly unremarkable for an historic pub, perhaps I had just seen too many. There is a dedicated area for food which looks popular. The staff seem to have mastered the art of perpetual motion, it made me tired just watching them.
