This place is a bar come nightclub. I was quite wasted when in the club, but had a reasonable night. Had a bit of "charisma" about the place. Becareful though I had a tendancy of tripping over one patron in particular, you won't miss him!

I for one remember certain incidents involving a rugby team and a few lads from the boxing club, talk about falling silent and walking out with the tail between the legs.

I play for Ashby RFC and would like to point out that Rugby clubs rarely sing crude songs anymore (I've only heard Ashby sing once in 5 years) and they certainly don't insult peoples girlfriends. I think its a case of people disliking a large group of mates for no good reason (like we hate footballers). Anyway we've never met the boxing club but I'm sure we'd have a laugh with them if we did!

Great Pub if you enjoy seeing the Rugby 'Tough guys' singing crude songs and insulting peoples Girlfriends in a sad attempt to look 'hard' while in fact all they are doing is making themselves look stupid and extremely annoying

This pub is made up of two halves which reflects the customers, kids upstairs grown-ups downstairs.
