2 pool tables. Good staff. Quiz machine. Lovely pint of Hobgoblin. Well kept. Great food at brilliant prices. Very impressed and will def go there again.

An alright pub, but one of the barmaids can't get my order right sometimes! Still i have a laugh about it. Probably the only decent pub in Rusholme.

Big spacious old pub. Was empty when I visited recently (think they'd just opended up). Friendly barman and a reasonable selection of beers - Landlord, Bombardier and Websters. No frills - just a good pub.

Not a bad pub, friendly mixture of locals and students and a decent array of beers. Pool table and reasonably kept facilities. Can't fault it really. Sort of place you'd go before a meal on the Curry Mile.

Great pub, no jukebox but the barstaff play everything from Motown to Metal on CD... Great pool table, excellent ciders and a quiz machine - Unbeatable

Not great, expensive, with the bloody cheek to change their prices at weekends. Only one real ale, and when i was there it wasn't brilliantly kept. Its not in a great area for pubs, being the only inhabitable drinking establishment within a mile or so...

Nice pub overall, friendly bar staff and a good selection of lagers. Prices seem to have crept up in the last year though and it is a bit quieter than before.

Used to be a good, cheap pub, with few students. CAme back to uni this year, and it's change hands. Prices have shot up to town centre prices, and it's now filled with slack jawed yokels. We'll see if the summer brings the same number of people back to the garden!

Used to be called the Birch Villa. Varies between popular with students and popular with City fans.
