Nice enough pub with a few real ales (I had Landlord which could have been better).
Quite big and spacious but I will never be a fan of pubs full of sofas. They take up a lot of space and are not really comfortable for drinking. Maybe I am old-fashioned.
Friendly enough . They have a wood-fired oven doing pizzas.

Recently under new Management and the change is massive. A really friendly welcome both times I've been in recently, which wasn't the case before. Chatty barmaid and the atmosphere was good. They're really making an effort to make it a community boozer with events on most nights. Popped in for one early Sunday evening and it was absolutely packed (admittedly the Rugby had been on a few hours earlier) so they're clearly doing something right.

Great pub! I used to live in Mile End and this is like the Little Driver, except better! It is two bars and put together it is a large pub. It also has a pool table. Owners are really friendly as well as the regulars. A place I have looked over and gone further afield, until now. Just goes to show that the grass is not always greener on the other side, and I should just go to the pub down the road, like this, instead of travelling all over London looking for a great night out. Really am looking forward to some great times in this place, as of now!

This is a decent enough pub with two separate bars which both have screens for different sports which can show different things at the same time. Whilst I was there the tennis was being watched by a few people that were playing pool in the public bar and there was some Irish sport being shown in the front of the main bar and a rugby game was on at the rear. There is also a small room at the back of the pub that seemed to be a quiet haven from the TVs.
There is a small beer garden out the back that is split into two sections, one of which was holding a BBQ that didnt smell too great. There is also a large outhouse that had lots of pushchairs and walkers in it; Im not sure what that is all about.
I would use this pub if I lived locally, but I wouldnt travel out of my way again.

Great boozer. John and Bernie are fantastic hosts and have been here for years. Tara the dog is a little smasher, and there are some brilliant characters here too. Gerry is a diamond! Good selection of bottled ales, and lovely seated area out back. Very friendly too. Recommended.

Popped in to watch the Spurs V Liverpool game on tv after watching my team, Hartlepool Unted, loose at Orient. Cracking pub with a good atmosphere. Would never have ventured here, but the Coach & Horses have had the football taken out. Was quite busy, which is becoming increasingly rare for local style pubs, even on a Saturday night.

The good -The friendliest pub in Leyton by a long shot. -Very reasonably priced. -Great for watching sport whether -football,GAA,cricket or rugby The bad -Need to sort out the lock on the male toilet door -Limited range of real ales

Popped in for a few pints after the Orient game on Saturday. Nice to see another pub supporting the local team.
If we go up and the club bother with the old bus parade then I think getting mangled in here will be a priority.

Best pub for watching the footy.
This may be in East London but it is one of the better pubs around. If a smaller pub is your preference, this one fits the bill with two areas around a central bar.
If you are an East Londoner it is probably one of the best pubs for watching sport. Two big screens and at least three smaller ones.
