White Hart, Holyportback to pub details please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.
The better of the two pubs we tried in the Holyport area. The White Hart has a large car park that was fairly busy. I only went into the bar area. But I presume there was a dining room too, given the amount of cars. We made use of the garden, which has a children's play area. Whilst this is a Greene King pub, the ale range is a bit more adventurous than most - My Generation Beer Company Session Pale Ale, Goffs Galahad, Skinners Betty Stogs & Greene King IPA. The Galahad wasn't too bad. Rugby was being shown on the TV and there is still a bar billiard table in one corner.

Tucked away from the main thoroughfare through Holyport and away from the eateries of The Belgian Arms and The George, the White Hart with its boundless car park is a good solid bet for the discerning drinker. The Tring Side Pocket (which seems to be inveigling its way around the pubs in the Bucks, Berks and Oxon area), was on the steep side at £3.60 a pint, no doubt due to being a GK guest, but was nonetheless spot-on. Busy for a Monday night and very much a locals ‘air’ to the place, but it was cosy enough, the service polite and friendly and the bar billiard table, commandeered as it was by three well-behaved children, was a nice touch.

Two different bars, one modern the other traditional. Ale was fine and staff bright and breezy.

Catching up on the sun outside The White Hart, nice front garden and some real good comfy furniture. Real ale choice is good, just had the Timothy Taylor Golden Best and the other guest ale Batemans...great condition... Good sandwich menu for lunches, chilled out relaxed place with friendly service...my type of place

Went to The White Hart over the weekend, first time since last year as been away. Great to see that the pub is still in great condition and being cared for by landlords... Lots of changes, right hand bar now warm and cosy with sofas and comfy seats, other bar more for dining and quiet drinks. Looking forward to spending my summer here with friendly faces both sides of the bar, good to see familiar faces and being welcomed back as if i had never been away, love it!!!!

Went for a pint just before Xmas, has been there a few occassions before. Australian bar owner said we could not sit near the fire as I had previously done despite there being only a couple of diners in that area - completely uncalled for and unfriendly. Pub was dead, seating was awkward in bar area. Rather odd assortment of locals. Did not stay for another pint and no goodbyes from bar staff. Had visited previously but would not go back as staff unfriendly and not a good atmposhere, bar owner needs to sort out attitude problem and learn some manners.

Had a meal there this lunchtime, great place - excellent beer and food. Other pubs in the Maidenhead area should take note of how this pub appreciates punters. Would recommend. Not too far to travel out to from Cox Green !

Good locals pub. Good beer.
Food is passable but too expensive for a pub. Eat elsewhere, then have a drink here.

Just spent some time at The White Hart over Easter - the new landlords have gone out and got a bar billiards table !! Had a great Sunday night - there was a duo playing live music - lots of covers from the 80's - the place was rockin ! Really good atmosphere and friendly staff - couple of hot barmaids ! On Easter Monday they were having a hog roast - really busy and good food and again good atmosphere. This place has really got better

Just moved back to the area after a few years away, new people have taken over the pub. Major change is that now two bars again, not restaurant as before, the new bar has darts and a jukebox !! Old bar pretty much the same. Went in on a Friday night, the place was jammed - music loud and people having a great time. Have been back since for food - all day breakfast pretty good. Think this could become my new local
